I drove to Rodney Boswell's
& called at Ashton & had
shoe put on "Fritz" behind
(game leg). also bought some
medicines groceries etc.
Willie went over to the school
house to take lessons in
"book keeping." Charley came
home about 10.o'clk a m
I went in next door to
see "Bessie" who is a sick
child." Afternoon Charley
drove me down to Ashton
with the brown mare to
the road cart to get a
bottle of Eucalyptus Ext
Lizzie Scott was here for advice
& medicine for herself

Went in next door after
breakfast to see "Bessie" again
she is still a very sick child
Charley & Willie worked at
cleaning up the lot next door
preparatory to putting in a
crop to Rye. Charley plowed
with Fritz & the brown mare
making a nice team. Afternoon
C was obliged to go and
attend to some fertilizer buisiness.
I drove down to Ashton
to get gum hose for the "fountain
pump]" and a nozzle that
would unscrew, to remove
any little obstructions that
may get into it. Mr Edwd:
L Palmer called & paid
his daughter's little bill.
