I drove to Geo: Sprigg's
and to Jno M Smith's and
to Caleb Pumphrey's also
to Elijah Leizear's & home
Bro Chas & Mrs &Miss Puncoast
called, also Uriah
& sister Harriet. Andrew
Johnson (son of Jim Johnson)
was here for advice & med
Robt Blair's little boy was
here & I paid him 85. cts
that Willie owed him.
After early dinner Willie
took Ed: Gilpin to Rockville
driving E's horse. I walked
up to the store & found that the
package I mailed to J Wanamacker
on monday morning
last (I took it to the office the
evening before (sunday) & paid
for having it "registered:" was
not registered at all.
"Alf Warfield & Harry Green
after supper emptied the "garden
-house tanks." Charly Willie &
Dora went to "Riverside" on Ed
Gilpin's buggy with "Kit."

A truly beautiful day
cool & delightful weather
Bro Richd came & took away
a box of books etc. I walked
up to A F Fairall's to prescribe
again for his daughter
"Sarah Lizzie." The colored
people are having a "grand
Pic nic" and parade at
Fletcher Clark's new place
near Sandy Spring. Afternoon
I drove to Ashton. Luther
Muncaster called to see
Willie. I was called to
see & prescribe for Gideon
Gilpin's wife, who has a
very sore foot.
