74° Clear S.W.
July Saturday 23d 1887

After breakfast I took
Willie in the buggy to "Olney"
to vote at the primary Election
it being Willie's first vote.
Charley went to "Olney" to vote
and from there to Latensville
expecting to go to "Elton" to
stay all night & home
tomorrow, bringing Dora with
him. Afternoon Willie went
to a "base ball" at "Stanmore".
Edward went to a "Pansey"
picnic" at the little meeting house.
We had a thunderstorm past
both north & south of us
this afternoon which cooled
the atmosphere very much
but it is still warm enough.

I felt quite unwell and
slept most of the morning.
Afternoon Willie drove
over to Riverside and remained
until 9 p.m. Charley & Dora
came home about 6 p.m.
I was sent for & Charley drove
me over to Saml Thomas'
to prescribe for friend
Rebecca Thomas who was
suffering from " cholera morbus".
It was dark when we reached
home. After which I went
in to Mrs Robisons to
prescribe for "Phil" who is
badly poisoned with
