Still another lovely morning,
it would be very hot
but for a fine breeze. I
drove down to the "bone mill"
to prescribe for and treat
Mrs Jas: Owing's: called at
Nelly's as I came home to
see Mr Christopher Himes
(Nelly's father by adoption)
Willie rode home by moon
light last night arriving
about 9.45 from Elton.
After an early tea Charley
took Willie in the buggy to
Elton expecting to return
tomorrow morning early.
Jno Wesley Johnson Jr. here
for advice etc. also John
Rounds with "tooth ache"
Mr Himes & Nelly walked
up & made a call in the
evening-

Strong breeze from S.E
all day, but warm in the sun
Matilda Bank's was here to
enquire about her boy "Ellie"
and see about her bill which
I gave her, the balance due me
being $15.26. Chas Scott who is
working just now for J B Bentley
was here for advice and
medicine. Afternoon Charley
drove to W Bowies & thence
to Elton to get some "home
cured" smoking tobacco.
to be home tomorrow morning
"unless it is a rainy day."
I feel quite unwell, having
a bad headache, & pains
"all over."
