Another beautiful day-
I drove over to E Leizear's
& home to dinner. I went to
R E Rabbit's to start a new binder
& also came home to dinner
Thos: L Moore's horse met with
an accident in contact with
a wretched barbed wire fence
on the road below Ashton
whilst being driven to a "Dayton
wagon" by some ladies. they
brought the horse here for me
to do what I could for him.
Afternoon I plowed the part
of the lot that was in rye.
Willie working in the garden
etc. " Edwd went to a "Pansy picnic".
at the "little meeting house"

Charley took cousin Elmer
Paxonto Homewood. Richd
Retzer brought Letitia Jackson
over & after dinner Dora
& Ellie Wood went back with
him to spend a day or two
Willie rode the bicycle to
Elton intending to remain
& help Ernest with harvest
Charley also went in the
open buggy to take some "binder
twine" and return tomorrow
morning. Jas S Marlow
came for me at suppertime
and I went down to prescribe
for his infant son. Harriet
Edward and I are alone
in the house tonight for the
first time in a long while.
