& was called in to see
& prescribe for Kate Stabler
at Ashton. Jno Mitchell
here for advice & medicine
for his father. J Wes Johnson
also here for advice.
Ned Chalfont called to see
Charley & Willie.

I drove to A. G. Mitchell's
before dinner. Charley & Dora
together with Ernest & Minnie
returned from Washington
about 1 o'clk p.m. and about
4 p.m. Enest & Minnie left for
Elton in our carriage & Charley
driving "Kit" to Ernest's buggy
went with them. "Fritz" fell
down & splintered one of my
buggy shafts this morning
as I was going down to see
Mitchell fortunately he broke
nothing else & seems none
the worse himself.
