Jarrett Lee brought his
son Fletcher for advice and
medicine. I drove over
to Elijah Leizear's. Bro R
called on way to meeting
Charley drove to Ashton and
took Nelly & Bessie a ride.
Willie came home about
meeting time. Ed: Chalfont
& Frank Hoff called.
Afternoon Charley took
Dora over to "Sharon" to meet
"Minnie" & Ernest. Rebecca
Nelson was here for advice
& medicine for her infant
son.

68. Cloudy S.E.
May, Monday 23^rd 1887.

Elijah Leizear was
after me early that morning.
After breakfast I
drove over to prescribe again
for his wife & called at
Nelly's to see little Bessie.
After dinner drove over
to Mrs. S Ellicott's and
prescribed for her brother
(Mr. Jas Duck) and sent
Willie to Ashton in the
buggy to bring little Bessie
home with him, as she
is not at all well and
we want her here until
she is all right again.
Charley went over into
the Elton neighborhood
to see some persons about
"binders" &c. Jos: Stabler
brought me some hay, for
which he is to take rye
to use in tying corn fodder.
