MAY, SATURDAY 14th 1887.

I drove down to Albin
Mitchells, taking Edwd &
Phil Robison with me.
called at Hetty Stabler's
to see about seed potatoes.
Afternoon Charley & Willie
went to a "baseball" match
at Brookeville. Nelly came
& took tea with us & took
little "Bessie" home with
her. I taking them down
in the carriage. C & W
went over to Scott's after
supper to see Walter
who is at home on a visit.
We were all sorry to part
with dear little Bessie
and shall miss her very
much. I am afraid she
is going away from home
poor little thing.
