Threatened thunder gust
lasta night but did not
amount to anything.
I drove in E Gilpin's buggy
down to Mitchell's
Willie going with me.
Paid Isiah Coar my
toll bill to date ($2.15)
W & I washed & fixed
up "Gilpin's" buggy.
Luther Muncaster left his
bicycle here & came in during
the thunder gust after school
W went to Ashton afternoon
& rode "Fritz" to his "Lodge"
After supper. (at Olney"
Edwd & I walked up to the
mill after tea.

May, Saturday 7th. 1887.

There was a succession
of thunder gusts & heavy
dashes of rain from midnight
until this morning
and again afternoon today.
Charlotte Rounds was
here & I incised a "felon"
on the index finger of her
left hand.
