Charley drove to Rockville
& from there in car's to Washington
to see F. Moore on buisiness.
he returned just at
dusk in the evening. I
walked up to the mill in
the afternoon they had been
running the new machinery
a little on trial

April, Wednesday 13th. 1887.

Willie took Fritz and
the spring wagon to gather up
some furniture etc for Nelly from
"Eldon" "Homewood" "Riverside" &c
Miss Alice & Beatrix Tyson
called for advice & medicine
for the former & to pay their
bill to the first of June: last.
I walked up to see the mill
running all of the new machinery
for the first time.
Dora & Nelly walked down
to Ashton. Afternoon I drove
to Ashton for garden seeds &c
Willie went down to varnish
some things for Nelly. he going
on the "bicycle". After supper
Charley Willie & myself walked down
to Ashton.
