I drove to Danl Bank's and
called on my way home at Mrs:
Mary G. Tyson's. Afternoon I
drove down to Ashton and
rode on horseback over to
Jno Ed: Hills'. Charley took
his sister in the carriage
(driving " Kate") over to Riverside
& taking "Nelly" from there
went to "Elton" where the latter
expects to make a visit of
several days. C & D to return
tomorrow. After tea Willie
went with Edwd Gilpin over-
to" Scotts" taking " Pedros" violin
with them to"practice"
with Ellie. The snow has melt
-ed Rapidly to day& the frogs
are singing merrily in the
Meadows

More like a spring morning
than any we have had for
sometime. Bro. R called
on way home from meeting
Afternoon I Rode over to
see Jno: Ed: Hill's little boy
who really seems to have
gained something since
yesterday. "Pedro" called
to see "Willie" about his
violin. W went to meeting
in the morning.
