Elijah Leizear was here
and settled his account &
also W H Bukoffoky's
Estate as Administrator.
Jas Grady was here to see me
about his little boy. Willie
went to the Sherwood School
house to the "Debating Society"
Rachael Thomas also called
and paid me $3.00 "on account."

50 Rain Rain N.E
February, Friday 18th. 1887.

Commenced Raining
about 6.o'clk a.m. & continued
making a "rainy day."
I burned the East chimney
which needed it badly and as
we are sure to have high windy
weather in March I was afraid
it would take fire in a dry
time and make more fire
than we wanted & we can
never have a better day
for burning it than this.
Garterell the butcher was here
I got a piece of "corned beef."
Jas Grady was here for med
for his boy. Wesley Johnson came
for advice & medicine.We had
quite a thunder gust at about
5.o'clk p.m.
