February, Tuesday 15. 1887.

It commenced snowing
before dark last evening &
continued intermixed with
Rain all night & this morning
making This a disagreeable
day. I am very glad we got
our hay handled just when
we did. Wesley Johnson called
This morning. Afternoon I
drove to Ashton for flour &c.
Willie went with me.
Levi Hopkins sent us four
chickens, nearly full grown.
After supper Willie rode over
to "Scotts" on horseback with E
Gilpin. Jno (Shipley) Johnson came
& Bought the wheel barrow home
he & Edwd: went with me to the
stable to clean "Fritz" off.

February, Wednesday 16th. 1887.

Willie took "Kit" to
T Marlow's shop & had new
shoes put on "all around."
Helen B Lea and little Anna
came to spend the day with
us. Afternoon Willie drove "Kit"
over to Jimmy Jackson;s to take
Charley's clean clothes. Bro Chas:
& wife called to speak to Helen
who left about 2. o'clock to go to
Wm Lea's to spend the night.
Geo: Sprigg's daughter was here
and has a tooth extracted.
