30o Cloudy S.W.
January, Wednesday 26th. 1887.

Sun rose clear. and soon
after went under the clouds
and rained several times
during the forenoon.
Willie drove over to Jenning
Jackson's to take some more
things for Charles and the
guitar. I am feeling very
stiff & sore from riding on
horseback more than usual
of late. I must take to
riding more, as it is so good
for me & I am fond of it.
