new shoe on right forefoot.
After supper I wrote to
Frederic Tyson and took
it up to the P.O.

Felt unwell this morning
having taken some cold. Drove
over to Scott's before dinner
Afternoon Dora drove to Edwd
Peirces'. Just at "dusk" the
smoke stack of the steam
Engine at the mill, fell down
in consequence of Jno: Johnson
running against one of the
"guys" or braces with the top
of a wagon. Dr Saml & Miss
Lizzie Scott called on way
up from Laurel for advice
for Walter. Alfred Warfield
worked at the woodpile
all day.
