last night & this morning, the
wind blowing exceedingly
hard all night shaking the
house from "roof to foundation"
continuing to blow after
the sun shone brightly.
Bro R called & took Cousin
Elma Paxon home. Charlotte
Rounds washed for
H.

Quite cool, Alice & Fanny
Peirce & Lucy Kummer came
to spend the day. Martha
Robinson here for advice &
medicine. Afternoon George
Grisby was brought here in a
wagon for advice & medicine.
and taken down to Fletcher
Clarks. The youg lady cousins
remained until after supper.
Charley & Willie went to "Sunshire"
& Elton by moonlight
driving Bulwar's horse to my
buggy. My watch came home
from Baltimore, having been
nicely "cleaned" apparently
but still does not "run"
satesfactorily stopping "just
when it pleases.
