Another delightful day.
Charley came in at 1.o'clk
this a.m. from "sitting up" with
"Bob Sullivan". I felt quite
rheumatic & did not get up
until late this morning.
After dinner I took Charley
down to Ashton & Calling at
the "Cottage" I took U B Kirk
with me to W^m. S. Bonds.
Afternoon I drove over to
Grove Hill and took tea at
"Homewood" in company with
Uriah & Harriet Hirk & Herbert
& Sarah Stabler. after tea I
brought Herbert home with
me, he expecting to leave
for Philad^a tomorrow via
"Rockville " & Alexandria Va.

Uriah Kirk came & took Herbert
to "Woodburn" from whence he is
to go to "Rockville" after dinner
on his way back to Phila: intending
to spend tonight in Alexandria Va:
I drove to Jas Johnson's (on J J
Shoemakers' place) before dinner.
Afternoon Charley took Douglas
Miller to the Primary
election at "Olney". May Lavinia
Thomas here for advice &c., also
George Sprigs & W^m Hill.
Charley Rode "Fritz" to the
store after supper I came
home about 10.o'clk
