Wm S. Bonds' before dinner.
Afternoon Josaphine Blair
brought her infant for me
to prescribe for Robt Awkard
here to see me about
his granDchild. Frank
Snowden here to see me about
a valuable heefer that
had its leg broken I sent
Charley to adjust a splint
for it.

Lovely day, more like Oct:
than August. I drove to "Grove
Hill" to prescribe for Miss "Madge"
Tyson, who is making a visit
there. took the rifle with me
& shot a red squirrel. Edwd
went with me. Willie went
to "Riverside" to dinner.
Michael Thompson brought
us ten 1/2 in pine weather
boards 6 in wide. which I
had split for strips for the
garden house. After tea Dora
Willie & Herbert Kirk walked to
A G Thomas' to call. Charley
went to sit up with "Bob"
Sullivan. Henry Millers
ox cart brought us two loads
of pine wood (1/2 cord at each
load).
