Drove down to Ashton
to see "little Tom Stabler.
Afternoon I worked at mending
the top of the buggy.
Uncle Henson & Annie
Rounds here at work
the former in the garden
& latter at ironing.
Charley & Ernest came down
from Elton in time for tea
and went back by way of
Brookville by moonlight.

Uncle Henson came &
trimmed the hedge for
me. Sister Beulah called
before tea time. I finished
mending the buggy top, and
put in new spring bolts.
