Charley did not get home from
the "dancing party" at Brookville
Academy until 2.o'clock this a.m.
Wilber Cissell called for advice
& medicine again "(Urticaria)".
Sent Willie to try to collect some
money. After dinner I went
to Ashton & brought the
carriage home with me. Willie
went down to see Jarrett Lee.
I sent in a "proved" account
against Cyrus Bowen's estate
to Remus Hill (Administrator).
Sent it by his son "Levi".

J. Marlow's apprentice (Henry
Barton) & Jno Howard here
the former for advice & med, the
latter to have a tooth
extracted. Robt Awkard also here
for advice & med. for his
grand daughter. Charley & Willie started
for a bicycle ride but C, broke
his "machine" & they came back.
Jarrett Lee's boy brought me
some money. After tea
Charley & I drove over to
Riverside & got some butter.
