Ther. SUN APRIL 26th, 1885 Wea.

Thunder & lightning in the
night last night commencing
about 1.45 a.m. I slept
none until day light.
Bro Richard dined with us
& after dinner he took Dora
up to Fulford. I rode "Fritz"
up to call upon the "folks"
Charley rod around on
his bicycle as long as
he could stand it and
then he would drive the
roan mare awhile, & so on
After supper he drove
her away some where.
Willie walked off over
to Riverside before tea.
Weather much cooler since
about 5. o'clk p.m. when it
cleared from N.W. with a blow.

Ther. MON. APRIL 27th, 1885 Wea.

Delightfully cool & pleasant
today. I drove to Ashton at
dinner time for C & took him
back after dinner after which
I took Harriet to Fulford
to call upon the friends from
"Lawrence" Mass. taking E
with us. I drove over to see
Josiah Bowen. After tea
Charley went with E Chalfont
for a bicycle ride
on the turnpike towards
Brookeville by moonlight.
Harry Lea called to say "goodbye"
expecting to go in the
stage tomorrow morning.
