Disagreeable rainy day.
After dinner Charley &
Willie drove over to
Riverside & did not return
until after
William S Bond called
for advice & for his son,
Charles, who has "mumps"

Cold again Jno Hall
called & paid me one
dollar. After dinner I
drove C down to Ashton &
got some medicines & paid
toll bill for "Sligo pike gate"
$1.84. Alice & Fanny Peirce
came to spend the night &
go to a "Sociable" at Ingleside "
I drove their horse
& carriage to Ashton & bought
some dried beef. I went to
Frank Leizears & prescribed
for his wife. After supper
Charley took Dora & Alice
Peirce to "Ingleside" driving
Jumbo
