Ther. Fri. Feb. 13th, 1885 Wea.

The weather looks like
an old fashioned "snow
storm
" commenced about
11.30 am snowing fine
& dry
as flour. Got some
new stair carpet & Dora
put it down. Ernest here
in the afternoon & got some
black paint. After tea
Frank Snowden brought
Fanny Stabler and the
young folks had a game
of whist again. Sent
John up to Sandy Spring
for coal oil after dark.
J. Snowden came in his
sleigh.

Threatning to snow again
and commenced about noon.
I drove over to "Osceola", &
prescribed for Ed Davis,
at request of Jno M Smith
who called & asked me to
go. Also called to see
Josiah Bowen. Recd from
Mrs Jas. G Boss, Postal "money
order" for ballance of their
bill ($18.00), from Washington D.C.
