At this time Home Interests were interupted
by one of the most enticing & facinating interests
of Home, namely a good supper, there were not more
than one or two of us that needed much for persuasion
to be gotten into the dining foom, but when the great
variety of well cooked & carefully prepared wares
was fully displayed before us it would have taken
much more coaxing to have gotten us back into
the parlor without having previously satisfied that
innate desire which such a display usually excites.
