shucking corn at house. Housed
31 1/2 barrels long & short Creek
corn in prize Barn to keep
on shuck, - & Creek fodder in
new Granary none used 7 stacks
4 or 5 waggon Loads Cloudy
& raining this morning

4 cloudy & rainy most all day
in evening raining hard —
making Brooms shelling & spining corn etc

5th Cleared off & cold this day
we eat Pears off a Pear tree
before dining room door. Second
crop, we had Pears on same tree
June & Novr 5th 1865 Cold day
the Pears some some fell on we eat themground &

6th Getting wood I went to Starkeys
he was from home & I got no leather
going there again to day —clear & cool
