Went to Elkton in sleigh
with Wm Thomas -- Superceeded
claim vs DF & B Miller for $75
1 year from 28th Nov. Much
sleighing. Col Howard returned
from Washington - thinks Cass
a great humbug- Snow
melted some to day - On Tuesday
morning the thermometer was
7 degrees below zero.

sleighing. Milly went to her
father's - I took supper with
Miss B. Wm Campbell & wife.
Rachel & Louisa sick with
