In expression of some measure of its
deep sympathy in the death of Mrs. Stanford, the
Academic Senate of the University of California
will send a delegation to the services next Friday
afternoon. Within the next twenty-four hours I
shall telegraph to you as to the number of repre-
sentatives from our faculty.
