Dear Sir:
In response to the definite suggestion of your
letter of yesterday I have communicated by telephone with Mr.
Palmer and Mr. Wilder, who are arranging for the delegations
from the railway service. Through another channel I have
communicated to Mr. Judah the fact that we have no intention
to omit representatives of the Executive Departments. I hope
therefore that you and the other chief officers of the Company
will be properly represented in the list of honorary pall-
bearers for Mrs. Stanford's funeral. I would write you fur-
ther details but these have already gone through the medium
of Mr. Judah.
