In reply to your 20th inst. beg to say: That the officers of the Elks numbering 10 have been appointed & already notified to represent this lodge at the funeral services of Mrs Stanford.

I am almost sure that out of the [--8--] 10 officers, only 8 will attend, so that a reservation of seats (8) will be sufficient.
