My Darling Wife,
You should be feeling the benefit of
your holiday by the time this letter is delivered.
I hope you enjoyed thoroughly every precious day
of it.Our moods are so closely connected with
our health we ought to consider it when we're able.
Wouldn't peace be a blessing Nancy darling? I see our
life then being a prolonged honeymoon rather than
just married life like most people stick into. I think
they must be dull personalities. If our budget
allows us let's see a little of the world. Change of
scenery and occupation whenever we grow bored.
No mental stagnation. I don't mean pet I'd like to be
a rolling stone either. A happy mean appeals to me
most. Otherwise how would we rear such darling
babies you & I have set our hearts on?A hotel is
grandly convenient for a honeymoon but it would
be a soulless place to live in. Don't you agree pet?
With your individuality and superior taste I'd
be terribly proud of a bungalow of our own
Perhaps it will not rate as a palace but such places
are neither cosy nor homely.

Dad wrote the surprising news of Will's marriage.
Sudden I say, unless they deliberately kept me guessing.
