My Own Darling Husband,
I have just come back from
a day at Southport, and what a day. May went
down on bussiness & Dad & I went with her, I was
expecting to get across to the beach, but no such luck.
I am on holidays now, I have a fortnight, it
doesn't seem eight months since I started there. Time
flies.
Tuesday. To-day my darling husband is our six
months anniversary, and believe me Alan, I havn't regretted
our marriage for one second. I do love you,
it has never been any body else Alan dear, you sure
got into my blood many years ago. Before I told
you I wanted to get married Alan I had to make perfectly
sure of myself & set myself many tests & not
one of them failed, not having seen each other for
so many months we both had to be sure. One thing I
asked myself was did I ever want to any place you
didn't take me, such as dances etc. or wish any other
company, not for one minute. I wanted to monopolise
every minute of your time. Dances seemed a waste
of time when I could share a wonderfully happy
evening with you, & they still do, it is empty
