My Darling Wife,
Half an hour ago a black vision announced "Telephone e cry". So I put down the book & went to the office. Of course it was bad? news in the form of another change of address. Still nothing's so bad. I may meet up with Jeff.
I returned to my book, when the telephone cried again. This time it must have been tears of joy for the voice said "Four travel-worn letters here for me Hooper". The boat's crew returned with them a few minutes ago. Were they travelworn! One envelope was held together with 12 inches of adhesive tape. The others had been readdressed fully six times. So there's romance in letters apart from its contents. One had an August date mark, the others Sept 19th etc. I take back all I ever said about the quality of your letters. The one you wrote on my birthday was an answer to any lovers prayers. It was
