your photos in it Alan & everyone who has seen them say they look lovely. When you come home I want you to get some photos of yourself from home & I will put them in the album with my baby photos. Then when we have our beauttiful children their photos will go in with ours.

Uncle Dave bought this house, so I don't know what we will do as he wants to move in. We don't wish to share our home with anybody & although we are entitled to stay here till after the war I don't think we will do that to him as he is Mum's brother. May said if she could get a shop & dwelling in one of the suburbs of town she would take it, I don't know whether she will be lucky enough.

May isn't going to Maroochydore now, she isn't well enough Alan. Everybody says she couldn't manage by herself & they are right. May needs Jeff badly, I hope Jeff is perfectly well & safe. It would be dreadful if anything should happen to him.

Alan Kennedy is announcing his engagement at Christmas. May tells me Bella is lovely compared with Alan's intended wife. Her people have dark blood in them I think they said Italians.

Patty & Jean Peel congratulated me a few days ago & sent their regards to you & wished you the best. They are lovely girls Alan.
