My Own Darling Husband,
I only wish Alan I could express my feelings on paper, but unfortunately I am not capable. I must tell you I think I am the luckiest girl in the world having you for a husband, just at present I am overwhelming with love for you. You have asked me on occasions do your letters inspire me, they do more than that darling. They are beautifully written. I wish I was on that end verandah with you, watching the moonrise, the place sounds like a lovers paradise Alan.
You ask me my sentiments regards spending a couple of years up there later on. I would go anywhere with you Alan, I really think I would love it. Perhaps you think it would be too quiet for me, that wouldn't worry me at all. If you do get a good offer, accept it darling, and I will be by your side. I am strong & healthy so have no fear of illness. You mention how cool it is at Lau, Goddo or Goilala & how you need a blanket every night. That does appeal to me Alan, I could keep you warm darling, like I do, without making you too hot. I am like a furnace, arn't I? You just set me on fire my darling.
You know I bought a lovely photo album to-day, through a girl friend. I am eager to get home & put my photos into it. I had stacks of yours too of New Guinea, I will look after them.
