I've just been down for a swim. The water is grand. I find excessive smoking has left me very shortwinded. I think I'll try to be more moderate.

Thereabouts, we embarrassed the local commanders re the question of nudism, the ladies quite rightly objectified. Which brings up the discussion to my mind. Personally, except in the bathroom & river or surf - & the bedroom of course, I am averse to this cult. It's immodest if not brazen, & anyhow, Adam & Eve used a fig leaf to protect them from sunbeam, flies & tickling spears of grass ('Scotch' Thistle wasn't supported to the leaf growing in the garden of Eden). Australians are very seldom guilty of carrying their freedom too far. But amongst our allies it's to too many a person. They prefer to work stripped, offendingly naked. Perhaps I've magnified their indiscreetness unpirly but their vulgarity is no less a common occurrence. As is said
