My Beloved Darling Wife,

I feel well justified in complimenting you on your typewritten letter. Honey, it does you more credit than any I've gotten previously. For the past few days an amazing number of coincidents have happened to me. Yesterday I read an article on "Education in Schools". The author recommends the substitution of typed work for pen work in primary schools. He contends that the brain energy used in complex coordinations necessary to commit ideas to paper is out of proportion & tends to direct concentration on writing
