My Darling Husband,

My thoughts have been with you all day to-day, how I wish my darling, you could just walk through the door right now I miss you a lot, but keep consoling myself you will be home with me again soon. I love you deeply Alan.

Las night I lay in bed and pretended it was the bed at Maroochydore and you were there along side of me. I lived a few of those nights over again darling, won't we have a glorious time when we are together again. Yes darling the few days we spent there we were gloriously happy, we should have had a home though, then we wouldn't have had to bother getting up until we felt like it. We could have stayed in bed till mid-day if we wanted to. I read a good story in bed the other night, it brought back our honeymoon to me and really inspired me. It was a good love story.

To-day we had a housefull of visitors. Doris and her brother, Zara and Dick and Muriel & Steve, it spoils the day more or less when a crowd like that walks in on you. Zara is the girl who sang at our wedding she is a lovely girl. Lives over the road, and works over the road from me.

I am going to Trevor Hendersons to-morrow to have my eyes seen too. I think I need glasses for reading & sewing and work. Jay told me on Saturday he was going to see I was taken off Mrs. Cottons work this week and he would see somebody else did it.
