Alan, is the any chance of you being transferred down here? I want you my darling and you deserve a break, nothing is too good for you.
I had a lovely dream about you last night, can't tell you about it but you can guess. To-night in the bus, I was with you once again my darling, and some incidents at the Canberra come back to me. It was really lovely being with you, but just think how we will spend your next leave, a month to-gether I often smile to myself over little incidents, it was a glorious three months, especially the last 12 days. Remember the day you went for a swim at Maroochydore, & the sunbake on the beach, I will never forget those days we were wonderfully happy, and I know now I will never regret marrying you. I was a little doubtful about marriage, but not of marrying you, I was afraid to take the step. I would never have married anybody else, I love being married to feel I belong to you, I feel safe & secure and happy. Promise me if your people are nasty over it, you won't let it hurt you too much, I love you enough to compensate for all that, and I never want you to be unhappy again.
Well my darling, I must dash upstairs and have May put the roll in my hair before she goes to sleep. Don't worry over me, I am well, safe and happy. Take care of yourself Alan dear and never forget for one moment how much I love you.
God bless you and keep you safe for me.
Your adoring wife
