I spent hours feeling my way before seeing the man I wanted. From there I was referred to two other chiefs & have a final appointment tomorrow with yet another. If my ideas are accepted I'll be on top. Jeff will be in on it too. (And it won't be any more risky than my last adventure. In fact much less). I'm keeping my fingers crossed & hope none of my patrons suffer a change of mind. You see pet the idea of taking a wholly non-combatant job that brings me more the closer to you, galls my manly instincts.
Your letter clears up the mystery of our long wait for that phone call. I rang exchange
at 6 pm & told them to put your call through to Lois' home.
