N[umber] 81 Pink Tincture
2 drachms of cochineal finely
powdered put it into a pint of
water boil it some time, then
Strain it and add to it
2 drachms of cream of tartar. &
4 Scruples of allum boil it
again and keep it in a
bottle. --------

N[umber] 82 Wafer Puddings
boil a gill of milk with an oz &
1/2 of butter & a small bit of Lemon
peels in it, when the milk
is cold add 2 dessert spoonfull
of flour by degrees, 1 spoonfull
of bruised white sugar & the
Yolks of 4 Eggs. to be well beaten
peviously & then added.
mix alltogether & bake it in
saucers for 20 minutes
