N[umber] 72 Cold pudding
A pint of cream the rind of a
lemon & Sugar to your taste boil
them together 20 minutes then
take out the lemon & beat it
in a morter put it to the cream
& let it Stand till nearly cold
& then pass it thro[ugh] a sieve, to the
Yolks of six Eggs beat all well
together, then boil it 20 minutes in
a mould with red hot cinders on
the pan corner or if you prefer
it you may put it in the oven
in boiling water
