Office of President
Stanford University
Stanford University
California
Dear Sir:

It has been some time since I received your letter of March 1945. I was quite interested to read of the efforts you are making to accommodate university training to the special requirements of returning veterans.

In answer to your questions: I do intend to return to Stanford to resume my formal studies. As before, I desire to accomplish pre-legal graining with the ultimate objective of entering Stanford Law School. With reference to individual requirements, it has been too long a time since I have even seen a bulletin to know what to suggest.

I would appreciate a copy of the bulletin "Educational Opportunities for Veterans."

[Sent 6-22-45]

There are only two of us here in the squadron who are past students of Stanford. Captain Frank Bowles and Squadron Flight Surgeon is an alumnus of both university and medical training.

My present address is:

2nd Lt. Leonard V. Sullivan, 0-775639
505th Bomb Group 483rd Bomb Squadron
A.P.O. 247 c/o Postmaster
San Francisco, California

I believe I have already informed you of my present assignment as a B-29 co-pilot. To date I have seen combat missions to the Japanese Empire.

Yours Truly,

Leonard V. Sullivan
2nd Lt. A.C.
