I was about to buy the History
and only delayed because Philip
King said he wished to present
the vols to me: and I did not
want to 2 copies. He is always
most expressive as to the debt of
gratitude which his family
owe to me for having scattered
the dirt which others had
thrown upon his grand father.

Thank you again for the
volume. I have now all of the
series as yet out except one about Cook. I have Vols 1 and 2 Historical Research and now 1 and 2 of "History from the Records".
I am posting a letter to Send Grove
today. Miss Susie is an
elected – unanimously! member
of a local body.

Miss Georgiana's was a
pleasant letter in itself
though it glanced at the
odious nature of Lord
Roseberg's doings and
those of Harcourts.
