My dear Mrs Onslow

Many thanks for your
letter which happily arrived
in time to warn me of the probably
time of Jamies' arrival.

I thought it best to remain
at home as he would have
my address, & would easily
find the way:- whereas if I
had gone to Melbourne I
should not have known when
to look for him. He found
his way all right and I got Ess'n
King to come up on Saturday
evening to have a chat.
