There is great comfort in the
thought that those who have gone
from us – and all must go – still
share our tasks in spirit and
rejoice in our success in what is
good. Your good mother felt that
comfort – you felt it when she
was gone, and it will be with
you now. It cannot remove
grief or absolutely fill a void,
but it hallows the one & supplies
gracious thoughts in room of the other.

If earnest sympathy can help

Never having seen the Normans
and having only seen Mr Onslow long
ago I cannot tell relatively how
