Dear Mrs Onslow
I am afraid that you must
have thought me graceless in
not having sooner answered your
kind letter enclosing notes to
Mrs Norman and to Mr Onslow.
I would have written sooner if I
had not wished to see them before
writing to you. When I arrived in
London I was for a time harassed
as to time and I have only now
fulfilled my hope of seeing Mr N & Mr O.
I sent to them at once by post your
letters and received from them invitations
to go to them. I was at Bromley last
month and now write on Sunday
morning from Send Grove. I need
hardly tell you that at both places you
and yours are the objects of most earnest
affection and have been the subject
of our thoughts & conversation.
There are tears of affectionate
