Dear Mrs Onslow

I am afraid that you must
have thought me very ungrateful
in not having answered your
kind letter sooner. but the fact
is that I was anxious to be
able to tell you some thing about
your liberal present of the
Camden beverage which has
been familiar to me so long.

It is only now that I have
been put in a position to do so.

I dont know anything of the
Secretary — one Levi or Levey — and
did not wish to appeal in any way
to him — so I spoke to my good
friend Sir Herbert Sandford (who is
the best importation we have had
through our Exhibition) and he kindly
undertook to look after the matter
for me — he having as British
Commissioner opportunity of doing
anything requisite
