Dear Onslow

This morning I received your
letter announcing that after her
severe sufferings Mrs Macarthur
has been relieved of all earthly
affliction and gone to join in another
world those whom she loved in this.

On these occasions one is
reminded of the lines that it is an
unfriend who would wish
to keep a sufferer upon the rack
of this tough world. And yet
the pang of parting is always
severe, whatever the circumstances.

Pray give my kindest condolences
to Mrs Onslow who has the
consolation of knowing that
throughout her life she has
been a good daughter and a
blessing to her father & mother
as well as to others.

I dont know how your position
will permit it, but if it would
