Sir,

In reply to your letter 11.1704 of the 16th instant,I
have to advise that the Superintendent of the Barambah Abor-
iginal Settlement states that the names "Ekeeby"and"[Tayoon?]"
are not known to any of the aboriginals on the Settlement,
but Tagon, the nearest he can find to the second work is the
name of a tree growing in the [Mareebah] district.
