I shall be obliged if you will favour me with a
few aboriginal names, with their English meanings, for the
undermentioned stations on the [Mackay]-[St.Lawrence] Line :-


Station. Class of Country.
10 miles 61 chains. Vacant crown land. Ti-tree.
15 miles 24 chains. Ti-tree, a swamp. Poplar, gum and bloodwood.
17 miles 15 chains. Ti-tree and devil-devil.
